Claire Bisdorff is a PhD student at the University of Cambridge, UK. Her doctoral research, supervised by Jean Khalfa, centers on the translation of French and English Caribbean writing into English and French, covering poetry, fiction and prose d’idées. She holds a B.A. in English literature from University College London, as well as an MPhil in European literature from Cambridge and a master in littératures francophones from the Centre International d’Études Francophones (Paris IV- Sorbonne). She is the co-convenor of the Cambridge French Graduate Research Seminar as well as an executive committee member of the Society for Francophone Postcolonial Society.
