Clíona Ní Ríordáin - Université Paris 3 Sorbonne Nouvelle

Clíona Ní Ríordáin holds a DEA in comparative literature from the Sorbonne, she is Agrégée de l’Université and she wrote her PhD thesis on the poetry of Seamus Heaney. At present; she is Associate Professor at the Université de la Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris where she teaches Translation (Theory and Practice) and Irish Studies. Her research interests include the interface between creation and translation in poetry and contemporary Irish poetry. She is one of the editors of the review Etudes irlandaises and is co-editing a volume of essays on Munster poetry with John Goodby (Swanseas University).
