Thomas Glave - Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Thomas Glave is the author of two books of fiction, Whose Song? and Other Stories and The Torturer’s Wife; the essay collection Words to Our Now: Imagination and Dissent (winner of a 2005 Lambda Literary Award); and editor of the anthology Our Caribbean: A Gathering of Lesbian and Gay Writing from the Antilles. A founding member of the Jamaica Forum for Lesbians, All-Sexuals, and Gays (J-FLAG), Glave is presently the Martin Luther King, Jr., Visiting Professor in the Program in Writing and Humanistic Studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
