Philip Mingay is an Assistant Professor of English at King’s University College in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, where he teaches Canadian and Postcolonial literatures, as well as literature and film. He has published articles about pedagogy, Margaret Atwood, and V.S. Naipaul. He is the editor of the forthcoming book of essays entitled Empire, Borderlands, and Border Cultures: Global Perspectives on Antiquity to Postmodernity (Cambridge Scholars Press).
