Erica L. Johnson holds a Ph. D. in Comparative Literature and is an Assistant Professor of English at Wagner College in New York City. She specializes in Caribbean literature, and is the author of two books: Caribbean Ghostwriting (forthcoming) and Home, Maison, Casa: The Politics of Location in Works by Jean Rhys, Marguerite Duras, and Erminia Dell’Oro (2003). She has also published articles on Virginia Woolf, Maryse Condé, Dionne Brand, Michelle Cliff, Jean Rhys, Hélène Cixous, and Marguerite Duras.
